You're in the right place.
If you've been managing your symptoms rather than resolving them, juggling appointments, trying different things, still not quite feeling like yourself, you're in the right place.
I’m Shiranee.
Women’s Hormonal Health Specialist & Ayurvedic Practitioner
I work specifically with women navigating perimenopause, menopause, and the hormonal shifts of midlife who are done with piecemeal solutions and ready to understand what's actually going on in their bodies…and how to feel better.
A kitchen in Kerala.
My path into Ayurveda didn't begin in a classroom. It began in a resort in Kerala, where my husband walked into an Ayurvedic clinic almost on a whim - and where I started to understand that the ancient wisdom I'd grown up with had a name.
He'd had chronic migraines for fifteen years. Every weekend was lost to them. Seen every consultant, tried every prescription, and nothing came close to the root of it - the medications simply created new problems of their own.
In Kerala, almost as an afterthought, he walked into that clinic.
Within a few months of following what they recommended, the migraines were gone, for good. I needed to understand how.
But really, I already knew.
Growing up in a Sri Lankan Tamil Hindu household, Ayurvedic principles were simply part of life - present in the kitchen, in the food, and in the way illness was understood as imbalance rather than malfunction.
I just hadn't had a name for any of it. Going to study Ayurveda formally wasn't discovering something new.
It was coming home to something I'd always lived.
Where ancient wisdom meets clinical understanding.
Before Ayurveda, I spent years working in the NHS as a Speech and Language Therapist, specialising in stroke patients and supporting people with communication, cognition, and swallowing difficulties.
That work gave me something most Ayurvedic practitioners don't have: a clinical understanding of the body, a rigorous approach to patient care, and a deep respect for what the body is capable of when it's properly supported.
It also showed me, from the inside, what conventional medicine does brilliantly and where it stops short.
It treats the symptom in front of it. It rarely asks why all the symptoms arrived together, or what might be driving them at the root.
Ayurveda asks why. It goes directly to the root cause.
Your symptoms are telling you something important.
I believe your symptoms are connected.
The broken sleep, the weight that won't shift, the brain fog, the low mood, the shoulder that started aching out of nowhere: these aren't separate problems requiring separate solutions.
In Ayurveda, they are one imbalance expressing itself in multiple places at once.
I also believe that midlife is not a decline.
It is a transition, and with the right support, it can be the beginning of your most grounded and vital years.
My job is to help you get there, naturally.

Working together
Every session with me is personal. Every treatment or plan is built around you specifically - your history, your life as it actually is.
I work in a calm, private studio in West London, and online with women across the UK.
My aim is never to hand you a list of things to do and send you on your way. It's for you to leave feeling genuinely different, and to keep feeling that way.
If you're not sure where to start, a Clarity Call is a good first step - a relaxed conversation where we can work out together whether my work is right for you, and what that might look like.
"Doing the programme with Shiranee has helped me implement lasting lifestyle changes."
